Heart Failure

Heart failure, a server failure of the heart functioning properly, especially as a cause of death. Basically it's when your heart muscle doesn't pump blood as well as it should. Some conditions are narrowed a arteries in your heart or high blood pressure that leaves your heart too weak or stiff to pump blood. Some conditions that lead to heart failure can be reversed, but if not, some treatments can improve the signs and symptoms, and it could help you to live a little longer. Although, not all of the treatments can help.
There are about 5.7 million Americans facing heart failure, and out of that 5.7 million about 10 percent of them are diagnosed with Advanced Heart Failure. Heart failure is considered advanced when the treatment given to the patient is no longer working. As the heart weakens the treatment becomes more   necessary, and is now time for making difficult, life-altering, maybe even life-ending decisions.
