Patterns in nature Dr.LR

Patterns in nature are visible regularities of form found in the natural world. These patterns recur in different contexts. Some patterns include trees, spirals, waves, and cracks just naming a few.Natural patterns form as wind blows sand in the dunes of the Namib dessert. You can see these patterns everywhere.
Joseph Plateau was one that examined some of these patterns.Ernst Haekel painted some of these. All these patterns can be very beautiful.Tree bark.sand in the desert, and rivers are also a few.

Recent earthquake in Oklahoma

Langton Oklahoma- an earthquake shook up residents in central Oklahoma Saturday night the 44 magnitude temblor struck five miles south southwest of the town of longstone, Oklahoma or about 29 miles north of the Oklahoma City metro, around 851 pm. At a depth of just 2 miles.

Horned toads are found in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and New Mexico. It is a small flat lizard with a fierce-looking face. It is mostly brown with two rows of sharp scales.
They are very unique because when they feel they are not safe or become alarmed they shoot blood out of their eyes. Horney toads are a part of the reptile family, and is TCU's mascot. They are  one of a kind lizard.

Dr.Doolittle

Armadillos are literally living dinosaurs, left over from previous eras, and the only mammals on the earth to have their own built in suit of armor. Texas designated the nine-banded armadillo as the official state small mammal in 1995.
A distant cousin of the sloth and anteater, the nine-bounded armadillo is the only species that occurs in North America. A bony, scaled, shell protects the armadillo from predators. Originally native to South America, the nine-banded armadillo now ranges as far as Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana. Armadillos are amazing and awesome creatures!

Zebras

Zebra each have a different pattern of stripes.Zebras are social animals that spend time in herds. They graze together, primarily grass. The partners may make it difficult for predators to identify a single animal from a running herd and distort distance at dawn and dusk. Zebras recognize each other by their stripes.
Zebras liven small in small family groups consisting of a male, several females, and their young's. These units may combine with others to form awe-inspiring herds. Zebras must be constantly wary of loins and hyenas. A herd has many eyes alert to danger. If any animal is attacked, it's family will come to its defense, circling the wounded zebra of attempting to drive off predators.

Dr. House

My name is Dr. House and I'm the biologist for this six weeks.
I'm going to be talking about deforestation and its effects. About half of the tropical forests have been cleared. An estimated 18 million acres is cleared every year. Deforestation is one of the factors of global climate change.
Trees absorb green house gases and carbon emissions. They produce oxygen and perpetuate the water cycle by releasing water vapor into the atmosphere. Without trees, forest lands will become barren lands. The reason that logging is so bad for the climate is that when eyes are felled they release the carbon they are storing in the atmosphere, where it mingles with green house gases from other other sources that contribute to global warming accordingly.

The tides will turn.

Tides are often known as a wave. But what causes a tide. The answer is in space. Tides are caused by the moon as it moves around the earths gravitational field. The moon, like the planets, dose not move in a circular pattern but in more of a pattern like a oval.

This pattern causes the low tides when the moon is farthest from the earth, because the effect of its gravity is weaker. These waves are calm and small. But when the moon is closest to earth it causes large waves, because the moon's gravity is the strongest. Causing large explosive waves.

Hamsters

There are roughly 25 species collectively known as "hamsters," of which there are three major groups that are kept as pets: the larger Syrian Hamster, Dwarf Hamsters, and Chinese Hamsters. They've become popular pets due to their ease of handling, cute looks, and ease of bonding with their owner.

Hamsters can come in many different shapes, sizes and colors. They can have short fur or long fur. Typically they range from 2 to 7 inches in length, depending on the species, and have stout bodies paired with short legs and very short. (Chinese have long tails)

Syrian Hamsters are generally solitary animals and should not be kept together in a single enclosure. Dwarf Hamsters of the same species and sex, on the other hand, are typically able to be kept together. Hamsters are not strictly nocturnal, but do spend most of the day burrowed only to come out in the hours before dusk.

Heart Failure

Heart failure, a server failure of the heart functioning properly, especially as a cause of death. Basically it's when your heart muscle doesn't pump blood as well as it should. Some conditions are narrowed a arteries in your heart or high blood pressure that leaves your heart too weak or stiff to pump blood. Some conditions that lead to heart failure can be reversed, but if not, some treatments can improve the signs and symptoms, and it could help you to live a little longer. Although, not all of the treatments can help.
There are about 5.7 million Americans facing heart failure, and out of that 5.7 million about 10 percent of them are diagnosed with Advanced Heart Failure. Heart failure is considered advanced when the treatment given to the patient is no longer working. As the heart weakens the treatment becomes more   necessary, and is now time for making difficult, life-altering, maybe even life-ending decisions.

Monkeys

A monkey is any non-human primate mammal with the exception usually of the lemurs and tarsiers. There are 3 types of monkeys. The 3 types include: non-human hominids, Old World monkeys, and New World monkeys. There are about 280 known living species of monkey. Many are arboreal, although there are species that live primarily on the ground, such as baboons.
Generally, monkeys are considered to be clever. Old and New World monkeys usually have tails, unlike apes. The New World monkeys are classified within the parvorder of Platyrrhine. The Old World monkeys form part of the parvorder Catarrhini, which also includes the hominids. Monkeys are very interesting creatures!
